Copy trading mirrors a leader's positions into your account at a scale you set. When they open, you open. When they close, you close. You can stop copying. You cannot undo the moves the market made while you were attached.

Before you attach
Five minutes of reading beats a month of a bad copy.
- Worst drawdown, not best month.
- How many markets they trade at once.
- Whether they hold over weekends.
- The fee, if one is charged for the copy.
While you are copied
Copy is not 'set and forget' if the leader changes behaviour.
- Look at open risk, not only closed profit.
- If size suddenly jumps, detach and reassess.
- Do not add your own trade in the same symbol without noticing the double exposure.
- Stopping the copy does not reverse losses already taken.
FAQ
Will I get the same profit?
No. Scale, timing and spreads mean your result differs. You can also lose money while their older record still looks strong.
Can I close one copied trade?
You can stop the copy relationship. Individual controls depend on the product screen. Assume the leader manages the trades until you detach.
Is this PAMM?
No. Copy mirrors trades onto you. PAMM gives you a percentage of a pool.
